A unique and rare location

The Villa di Loro, whose origin dates back to the 15th century, is located a few kilometres from Florence, immersed in vineyards and olive groves in the green landscape of the Chianti hills.
Belonging to great and noble Florentine families, it boasts illustrious owners such as the disciple of Galileo Galilei and Evangelista Torricelli, the mathematician and naturalist Vincenzo Viviani (1622-1703). 
The Villa di Loro is surrounded by a large Italian-style park on two levels with flowerbeds of geometric figures, boxwood hedges, natural turf, roses, antique pitchers, fountains, statues and a pool with goldfish and water lilies.  In the garden it is possible to set up aperitifs, dinners, open bars, music and outdoor lounges. 
Inside the Villa, guests can enjoy elegant spaces: the main entrance, embellished with hand-decorated coffered ceilings and a Madonna and Child from the Della Robbia workshop, leads to lounges and living rooms.
The Redi Room, with frescoes from the 1700s surrounding an ancient 16th-century fireplace and precious Murano glass chandeliers, the De Plaisant Room, which recalls the origins of this family that became noble because an ancestor who was a medical general valiantly served the kings of Savoy in the 19th century. Finally, the Viviani Room with curious antique instruments, lounges and libraries with historically significant parchment volumes.  The Villa has a Romantic-style Bridal Suite of about 100 square metres.
A church dedicated to the Holy Family of Nazareth, embellished by a beautiful bell gable, was added to the Villa in the first half of the 17th century. The church can host weddings, baptisms and other religious ceremonies.  Weddings and civil unions can also be celebrated both in the park and in the rooms of the Villa.
Well set in the context, there are the Scuderie which offer a unique and very spacious setting for receptions on the ground floor and exquisite wine tastings in the barriccaia on the upper floor.
High-quality wines have been produced on our hills since time immemorial. As early as 1685, Francesco Redi, a physician and naturalist from Arezzo and author of Bacchus in Tuscany, praised the wines produced on our hills, which were highly appreciated by the Florentine nobility of the time. Attached and connected to the Villa is the Cellar where Chianti, Vermentino and Vinsanto del Chianti are vinified.  Every year, Chianti wine, IGT Supertuscany, Vermentino della Colonna and Vin Santo del Chianti are produced from the best grapes,
