Castello il Corno was born as a strategic garrison of the Val di Pesa, located between the towns of San Pancrazio and Santa Cristina in Salivolpe to defend the border between Siena and Florence.
Its name comes from the ancient Florentine family of Pistoia origin, the “Del Corno”
In 1523, in the midst of the Renaissance, the estate became part of the Strozzi family’s heritage, becoming the de facto residence of the Grand Duke of Tuscany.
Since the end of the nineteenth century, after a laborious transfer of ownership, the estate became part of the assets of the Family of the Counts Frova Arroni of Arrone, today it is easy to find Countess Maria Giulia in the garden cutting her Roses.
Since the 1990s, after the restoration of some farmhouses, the important agritourism hospitality activity has also been carried out.
In the accommodation facility, both the apartments and the rooms are furnished with care and elegance and are characterized by a country chic atmosphere typical of ancient Tuscan homes.
The Estate is ideal for welcoming couples, small and large groups, weddings, parties, hen or stag parties, conventions and every traditional and genuine experience, all in a fantastic Renaissance setting.

The venue offers 2 rooms that can accommodate from 40 up to 130 people and 6 open air spaces for up to 200 people
In case of inclement weather conditions is there a covered appropriate space for all guests?
The venue offers covered spaces which are appropriate in case of bad weather for the entire wedding events.

The ceremony can be held in our wonderful wine cellar, while for the aperitif or reception there is a large covered terrace.

FROM THE NORTH (MILAN) OR FROM THE SOUTH (ROME) A1 AUTOSTRADA DEL SOLE
Motorway exit Firenze – Impruneta (formerly Firenze – Certosa). Take the Firenze-Siena highway towards Siena. Exit at San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Once you arrive in the village, follow the signs for Certaldo – San Pancrazio. Pass the small village of Ponterotto and continue straight towards San Pancrazio. Once you reach the crossroads of the village of San Pancrazio, turn left following the sign La Romita. After about 800 meters on the left you will find the Tenuta il Corno farmhouse.
FROM PISA AIRPORT
Take the S.G.C. FI- PI –LI. After about 60 kilometers, exit at Ginestra Fiorentina and follow the signs on the right for Montespertoli – Cerbaia.
Once you reach Cerbaia, follow the signs on the right for Montespertoli – Volterra. After about 3 kilometers, follow the signs for San Quirico, San Pancrazio. Once you reach the village of San Pancrazio, continue straight for La Romita for about 800 meters. On the left is the Tenuta il Corno farmhouse.
FROM FLORENCE CITY
Follow the signs for Siena until you take the Florence-Siena motorway junction (RA3) towards Siena. Exit at San Casciano in Va di Pesa. Once you arrive in the village, follow the signs for Certaldo – San Pancrazio. Pass the small village of Ponterotto and continue straight for San Pancrazio. Once you reach the crossroads of the village of San Pancrazio, turn left following the sign for La Romita. After about 800 meters on the left is the Tenuta il Corno farmhouse.
